Q.  Can I change the IFS panel in the field from Demand Dose to Timed Dose?
A.  Yes, as long as you have the display board option.

Q.  What is the display board option?
A.  In Demand mode, the display board will give you information such as cycle counter(s), elapsed time meter(s) and alarm counter. In Timed Dose mode, it will also include pump ON/OFF timer and override counter. Duplex models with this option also include a LEAD/LAG selector.

Q.  Can I add the display board option if I already have an IFS panel without it?
A.  Yes. The Installer Friendly Series™ display board can be easily installed on an IFS panel thta is not equipped with this option. This display board is sold separately (P/N 1016845) at a list price of $100.00. Q.  How easy is it to change an Installer Friendly Series™ panel from Time Dose to Demand Dose?
A.  Very easy. All you have to do is move a plastic jumper on the circuit board and make the necessary float changes.

Q.  Do I need to have the display board to operate the IFS panel in Timed Dose mode?
A.  Yes. You must have the display board to operate the IFS panel in Timed Dose mode to program the pump ON/OFF times.

Q.  Do I need to have the display board to operate the IFS panel in Demand Dose mode?
A.  No. The Installer Friendly Series™ panel will operate without the display board; having this option provides you with information.

Q.  If I have a duplex panel and one of the pumps needs servicing, what needs to happen?
A.  Turn the desired pump to be serviced to the OFF mode and turn the corresponding circuit breaker to OFF. The pump that is in the ON mode will run with no alternation.
